Western Martial Arts Introductory Workshop

English Martial Arts of the Eighteenth Century
Oriental styles do not have the monopoly on practical, pragmatic techniques, nor on martial philosophy.
This workshop will introduce participants to three different weapon styles commonly practised in England 300 years ago:
- Smallsword, a thrusting weapon used in duels
- Backsword, the military sword of the day
- Pugilism, the precursor to modern boxing.

The course is suitable for all levels of ability. Participants must be 18 or older. The course fee is £22.
